As followers of Christ we should expect to be hated. We’re bringing light into a dark and broken world and the darkness hates the light. Jesus said that we are blessed when the world hates us, because it puts us in company with the prophets. Pastor Josh reminds us today, however, that we need to be faithful in doing good in our communities, so that they can’t hate us for neglecting those in need. As followers of Christ, we need to remember to be the ones to bring the light to our community.
