Jesus doesn’t call us into unnecessary, pointless risk. Think of skydiving for example. There have been thousands of people who have willingly stepped out of perfectly good airplanes with no other motivation beyond their desire for a thrill. There have also been thousands who have jumped out of an airplane for a worthy cause. Today, Pastor Josh will warn us that as we follow Jesus, we’ll have our own planes to jump out of, but the dangers we face are all for the most worthy cause.
