Today, Pastor Josh reminds us that God does not overlook the good works we do in service of His name and our fellow believers. However, too often we do the right things for the wrong reasons. Pastor Josh clarifies that love should be our motivation for our good works – just like the example Christ set for us. We ought to strive to genuinely love people so that our service does not come from of a sense of obligation or duty. This kind of guilt-driven service does not please God, but love does.
